Colton’s motorcycle workshop is where your ride gets the attention and care it deserves. Alongside our showroom we run an in‑house mechanical workshop providing a full range of motorcycle services to keep you riding safely, smoothly, and in style.
What We Do
General Repairs & Mechanical Work
From fixing engine issues, electrical faults, clutch & gearbox adjustments, to braking system overhauls — if it’s part of your bike, we can repair it. We also handle diagnostic work and troubleshooting to pinpoint the exact problem.
Servicing & Maintenance
Scheduled servicing per manufacturer spec: oil changes, filter replacements, fluid flushes, belts/chains, valve clearance, tune‑ups, etc. We can do both routine and more comprehensive servicing, depending on what your ride needs.
Tyres: Fitting & Balancing
We source tyres from top brands, match them to your riding style (road/touring/off‑road/sport etc.), and fit them properly. Balancing is part of the job to ensure a smooth ride.
Tyre Repair & Puncture Fixes
If you’ve got a puncture, flat tyre, or minor damage, we can often repair rather than replace (depending on severity and safety).
WoF Safety Inspections
We’ll check to see that your motorcycle meets basic safety standards – lights, brakes, tyres, steering, frame integrity, etc – so there are no nasty surprises when you go for your Warrant of Fitness.
If you don’t have time; we can organise your WoF for you.
Authorised Service Agent Work
Colton’s is an authorised service agent for Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Moto Morini, Vespa, and Piaggio. We perform warranty work, manufacturer‑approved servicing, software/firmware updates, and use genuine or approved parts.
Parts & Sourcing
If something needs replacing, we can source and order parts for many makes & models. We’ll source genuine components where needed, or aftermarket where suitable.
Customisation & Modifications
Want to personalise your ride? We do custom work—from performance upgrades, exhausts, cosmetic changes, accessory fitting (e.g. lighting, racks, fairings), handlebars, etc. We help design and execute the modifications safely and in line with any legal/regulation requirements.
Diagnostics & Electrical Work
Diagnostics (including electrical systems, sensors, lights, ECU/software where applicable), wiring issues, battery replacements, charging systems etc.

How It Works
- Bring your bike in or contact us: Pop into the workshop or drop us a line and let us know what your bike is doing (or not doing…).
- Assessment & Estimate: We can inspect and/or run diagnostics, let you know what we find, and give you an estimate before work begins.
- Approval & Parts Ordering: If parts are needed, we order them. For custom work or modifications, we’ll discuss options & design with you.
- Work in Progress: We’ll get on with the job and keep you updated if anything unexpected comes up.
- Final Check & Handover: We double‑check for safety and performance, clean up, test ride or check (as appropriate), and hand the bike back to you ready to ride.
